The Standard Chartered Hanoi Marathon Heritage Race 2024 is announcing the official running track for the 4 events: 5km, 10km, 21km and 42km. The tracks highlight the beauty of Hanoi, making every step an impressionable experience. 

Besides meeting all technical requirements from the Association of International Marathon and Distance Races (AIMS), the organizers have met with relevant authorities, spent months researching and testing to come up with the most optimal race track packed with heritage sites while still ensuring safety and smooth flow of traffic throughout the city.

Running through city gates connecting heritage and traversing through bridges connecting the past with the present, the Standard Chartered Hanoi Marathon Heritage Race track delivers emotion, nostalgia and innovation while giving the athletes a challenge. After all the steps, after all the PR achieved, what remains are the memories as well as the pride when overcoming one's own limits.

The organizers have innovated every aspect of organizing, from designing the track to security and first aid. Hundreds of water stations, first aid tents and porta-potties are placed along the track to ensure wellness and comfort for the athletes. Volunteers by the hundreds are also available to assist, ensure safety and cleanliness. There are also photographers stationed at fixed locations to capture memorable moments for the runners throughout the journey.

At Standard Chartered Hanoi Marathon Heritage Race, every step is a journey towards conquering oneself as well as a chance to take in the capital's culture and pace of life in the scenic Hanoi autumn. Every moment gives a sense of exhilaration as the runners submerge themselves in the spirit of the marathon.
