🔶The Standard Chartered Hanoi Marathon Heritage Race is the tenth race in the Standard Chartered Marathon franchise, which is renowned worldwide for its celebration of endurance, unity, and the pursuit of excellence, upholding high international race standards. The marathon is scheduled to take place on the first weekend of November every year, running through the vibrant streets of Hanoi’s Old Quarter..
🔶Standard Chartered owns the prestigious international Standard Chartered Marathon series, first organized in 1997. It has since expanded to various locations worldwide. Participating in the Standard Chartered Marathon is eagerly anticipated by many athletes globally.
Held annually since 2018, the Hanoi International Heritage Marathon is the official marathon of Hanoi. It has been a member of the International Association of Marathons and Road Races (AIMS) since 2019, with a course certified by AIMS experts and the Vietnam Athletics Federation. The event has joined the Age Group Ranking System of the Abbott World Marathon Majors. Performances at the Hanoi International Heritage Marathon are recognized as qualifying standards for any of the six major marathons on the planet, including the prestigious Boston Marathon.
