With the theme ‘Break Through, Reach Further’, I believe that each step we take in this marathon will serve as a powerful motivation to push our limits and discover new potentials.”
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyễn Trí, CEO of DHA Vietnam, the event’s owner and a BTC member, added:
*”Organizing a marathon for more than 18,000 domestic and international runners is a huge challenge. The BTC has worked closely with relevant authorities for months, conducting multiple test runs to develop the best racecourse plan—one that connects heritage sites while ensuring safety and smooth city traffic flow.
For security, we have collaborated with law enforcement, including the riot police regiment and district police units, to establish a comprehensive safety network.
Beyond organization and athlete experience, our top priority remains safety for all participants. The Standard Chartered Hanoi Heritage Marathon 2024 is the first marathon in Vietnam to have the official medical sponsorship of Bạch Mai Hospital, Vietnam’s highest-tier medical institution.

They will also handle hospital transfers when needed, always prioritizing athlete safety.
