About the Organizing Committee
The Organizing Committee of the 2024 Standard Chartered Hanoi Marathon Heritage Race, Vietnam’s premier professional marathon, consists of the following members:

Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports (SVHTT)
A specialized agency under the Hanoi People’s Committee (UBND), responsible for advising and assisting the city government in managing culture, family, sports, and advertising in accordance with the law
SVHTT has legal status and operates under the direction and management of the Hanoi People’s Committee in terms of organization, staffing, and operations, while also receiving guidance, supervision, and inspections from the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism.
In recent years, SVHTT has actively organized and licensed various cultural and sports activities, significantly contributing to making Hanoi a civilized and elegant capital in the eyes of both domestic and international visitors.

Vietnam Athletics Federation
Established in 1962, this professional social organization brings together many leading experts in Vietnamese athletics.
Over nearly 60 years of growth, the federation has made significant strides and is now a member of the Asian Athletics Association (AAA) and the World Athletics Federation (IAAF).
The federation actively fosters bilateral and multilateral relationships, contributing to the development and achievements of Vietnamese athletics on regional and continental stages.
Domestically, the federation collaborates with the Athletics Department of the General Department of Sports and Physical Training to organize national-level competitions, including the Hanoi International Heritage Marathon.

DHA Company Limited (DHA)
Established in 2007, Duc Huong Anh Company Limited (“DHA Vietnam”) is a prestigious media, event organization, and marketing company with core spearhead business service sectors:
-
Sports Tourism Services
-
International Conferences & MICE Services
-
International Travel Services
-
Consulting and Transfer of Educational Technology
Beginning its expansion into the running event organization sector in 2013 with its first race being the Halong Bay International Heritage Marathon, DHA Vietnam has now become one of the largest and most professional running race organizers in Vietnam.
The Heritage Races system, owned and organized annually by DHA Vietnam, includes the following races: Hanoi International Heritage Marathon – now the Standard Chartered Hanoi Marathon Heritage Race (first week of November), Halong Bay International Heritage Marathon (last week of November), and Can Tho International Heritage Marathon (December).
Right from entering this market, DHA Vietnam determined that running, and sports in general, would be a major driver to develop tourism, creating a shared development momentum for the entire economic sector. That is why DHA Vietnam participates in organizing numerous running races and promotes cultural values through marketing Vietnam’s heritages, including cultural and intangible heritages; internationally recognized heritages as well as the unique, specific heritages of each region, province, and city.
The races organized by DHA Vietnam are always designed to provide brand promotion and product marketing opportunities for both domestic and international enterprises. Determining the objective of “organizing professional races of international standards”, DHA Vietnam has proactively cooperated with international sports consultants, and studied leading world marathons such as the Berlin Marathon, Boston Marathon, Tokyo Marathon, Paris Marathon… to acquire experience and organizational processes, flexibly applying them into practical organization in Vietnam.
The races under the Heritage Races system have been members of the Association of International Marathons and Distance Races (AIMS) since 2019, with race courses standardized by experts from AIMS and the Vietnam Athletics Federation. All races have joined the Age Group Ranking System of the Abbott World Marathon Majors.
The year 2025 marked a proud development milestone for DHA Vietnam when the Halong Bay International Heritage Marathon became the first and only running race in Vietnam to receive the prestigious World Athletics Label Road Race. This affirms the position of Vietnamese marathon on the global marathon map, attracting world-class runners to compete and break records. The Standard Chartered Hanoi Marathon Heritage Race continues to be a member race of the globally renowned Standard Chartered Marathon system.
With the aspiration of “Bringing Vietnam to the world” and “Bringing the world to Vietnam”, DHA Vietnam is always a pioneer in activities towards the growth of the Vietnamese running community, supporting community-based running races through assisting the organization of the “Run for Love” race by Vietnam Airlines, and the “Relay Journey” race to raise funds for cancer patients initiated by K Hospital…
Through its prestigious international running race system, DHA Vietnam possesses a great opportunity to lead the “Green Sports” trend. Applying carbon quantification models to the races not only enhances the brand reputation of the Organizing Committee and sponsors but also directly contributes to the Government’s Net Zero commitment. Each athlete not only conquers their own limits but also contributes to creating a green living movement, consuming responsibly and joining hands to protect the planet.
In 2026, DHA was officially selected as the organizer of the Global Gate Halong ESG++ Marathon – Run for Net Zero (October 2026). This is not just a marathon, but a symbol for a new generation of sports events, where individual achievements go hand in hand with environmental and community responsibility.
In April 2026, DHA expanded its presence to Da Nang with the AirAsia RedRun Da Nang 2026 – Champion 21 race.
