Vietnam's Top Marathon Event T-Shirt Triggers More Fever in 2021

“QUALITY and HOT”, “NICE – UNIQUE – EXTRAORDINARY” are what VPBank Hanoi Marathoners have been commenting about the event T-shirts from recent races and that is also one of the features that have created a brilliant “VPBank Hanoi Marathon”, full of excitement for thousands of runners scaling beautiful tracks in Hanoi's autumn.

The first images of the 2021 marathon event T-shirts made by Xtep, the race's exclusive outfit sponsor, and which were introduced by the Race Organizing Committee (ROC) have triggered more fever among the runner's community. They are the trio of event T-shirts for runners competing in Half Marathon or shorter distances, the singlet dedicated exclusively for the 42-km distance and the 42-km Finisher T-shirt. Moreover, for the first time the ROC of the 2021 race will introduce a T-shirt for runners who win the New Personal Best prize.

The event shirt for HM runners and those in the shorter distances, the marathon's largest group, is designed as a decent, athletic and inspirational T-shirt. The designer and the ROC believe that the T-shirt will bring inspiration in competition to each runner on the track. It will also become a useful outfit, preferred by athletes not only for sports activities but also extremely stylish and convenient for daily activities such as going out, meeting friends...

 

Singlet for FM runners

 

 

The VPBank Hanoi Marathon 2021 will receive a record of nearly 3,000 runners to compete in the 42-km distance. This fact has given the ROC, the design team a special inspiration to develop a version with a lot of twists, bringing a pleasant surprise to runners. Design as a singlet with a lightweight, sweat-wicking material, the shirt provides an impression of wearing as if nothing is put on, and comfort for the runners' One-thousand-and-one hand strokes throughout the 42-km track. This is a limited edition exclusively reserved for FM runners.

 

Finisher T-shirts

 

 

The Finisher T-shirt for FM runners has been equally warmly received by the runner's community. Designed with the main theme of green and a black background with delicate cuts, the Finisher T-shirt brings runners dynamism, youthfulness and strength, yet staying mysterious, luxurious and powerful.

 

In particular, all the runners who have won the New Personal Best prize, meaning this year's performance is better than last year's even for a split second, will enjoy the privilege to have the words "New Personal Best & Sub hh:mm" printed on the back of the T-shirt.

VPBank Hanoi Marathon 2021's event T-shirt has been developed by a team of professional designers who are also excellent runners, under the ROC's careful review for months of work, in order to demonstrate the marathoner's spirit of endurance in sports and also to mark the historic year when Vietnam hosts the SEA GAMES.

Using 100-percent high-quality polyester fiber, diamond-shaped weaving texture as well as the unique and classy textile technology and exclusive design from sponsor Xtep, the 2021 marathon's event T-shirts will surely bring runners great experience and endless inspiration, contributing to raising each runner’s results on the Race Day.

Held annually since 2018, the VPBank Hanoi Marathon has become Hanoi’s official race and won recognition to be a member of the Association of International Marathons and Distance Races (AIMS) since 2019, with a running track standardized by AIMS experts and the Vietnam Athletics Federation. Runners’ results, in addition to be qualified for competing in the 31st SEA Games, are still recognized to qualify for the prestigious Boston Marathon. The VPBank Hanoi Marathon has joined the Age Group Ranking System of Abbott World Marathon Majors, counting from 2022.
